Kristin and Mark were married in Clarksville where they are both from and celebrated with friends and family dancing the night away! I think this might just be one of my all time FAVORITE photos of the bride and groom!!!

They had a love birds theme with their paper goods, decor, etc., so these adorable birds fit perfectly for their unity candle!

With their love bird theme, they did birdseed hangers in the shape of hearts and koozies with their logo from the save the date and invite!

Casey + Justin = Downtown Nashville Wedding

There are always those super fun couples that you're always so psyched to work with (I feel like I say that about all my brides! :)), but Casey and Justin were two of the sweetest people I've ever met and to top it off Justin is an Elvis impersonator and showed off his skills, as you'll see later! Since Casey and Justin are such music fans, they chose to do signed vinyl's instead of a traditional guest book to hang up in their home!

Gary Jenkins very graciously turned the stage over to Justin and his band, Chuckie P and the Pepperoni's, to do a set and I have to say, it was AWESOME! I LOVE Chuckie P and the Pepperoni's, and I have the button to prove it. :)

As a late night snack we had french fries, grilled cheeses, and mini popsicles from Las Paletas passed around to the dancing guests!

Casey and Justin, your sincere love and joy for each other is infectious, and we wish you two many, many years of wedded bliss! Love you guys!

So.... I may have lied yesterday in Jennifer and Gene's rehearsal dinner post that I could do a post on their wedding day in one part. Jennifer and Gene were married at Cathedral of the Incarnation and reception was at the Hutton Hotel. When Jennifer and I began working together to plan her wedding, she had a few of her vendors in place, however I got the joy of designing with Hillary from Brocade this amazing vision and look that Jennifer had for her modern wedding. We had the pleasure of working with two really wonderful families for our August 6th wedding and they truly had a beautiful wedding weekend! We got to enjoy time in planning both the rehearsal dinner and the wedding and reception. So.... with so many gorgeous details, we have to do a two part blog featuring their wonderful rehearsal dinner at Giovanni's and then their wedding at Cathedral of the Incarnation and the Hutton Hotel. They used the gorgeous upstairs area overlooking South Street for cocktail hour with cocktails and hors d'oeurves and a wonderful slideshow that was created to Jennifer and Gene's surprise!

I just love reaction of bride and mother of bride in this photo watching the slideshow!

Although a lot of people do slideshows for their rehearsal dinners, it's a wonderful way to bring both families together to see photos that each other may not have seen, but also include your many guests that are invited.

The welcome box we put together for each guest at the dinner was filled with Nashville/Tennessee fare to celebrate where they were all coming together from near and far!

Grace + Yin = Nashville Wedding

This past September I had the privilege to work with one of the sweetest couples I've ever met - Grace and Yin.  They planned their wedding from New York City, where they both live and work, with the help of Grace's incredible parents.  Despite their short engagement, everything was absolutely gorgeous and done to the nines-- from the family-style home cooking by the Loveless Cafe to Grace's mother's wedding dress which the bride wore after making a few slight alterations. Family and friends traveled from thousands of miles away to celebrate with the couple, and you can tell they had a FUN time! I've never before seen a bride and groom crowd-surfing at their wedding reception... they certainly didn't let the fact that they happened to be wearing formal attire inhibit their good time!

Anna + Andrew = Franklin Wedding

I always love a wonderful outdoor wedding, especially in October when the weather is just amazing and the sunset for Anna and Andrew was just glorious on their wonderful wedding evening at Carnton Plantation! Anna and Andrew had their ceremony in the garden at Carnton under the old orange tree and their guests enjoyed cocktail hour at the front of the Carnton home and dinner/dancing at the Fleming Center!
