Directing weddings since 2005, Mary Alice believes there is no better way for someone to spend their life and career than helping others have the most beautiful and joyous day of their life. Her training certification includes the Association of Certified Professional Wedding Consultants and Association of Bridal Consultants. In 2008, she is completed a professional intership program with Mary Dann, one of the most sought-after event coordinators in California and seen often on the "Who's Wedding Is It Anyway?" television series airing on the Style Network. Mary Alice also teaches a wedding planning certificate course in conjunction with Lovegevity.com and Tennessee State University.
She looks forward to helping her clients create a most perfect and delightful day for their special event.

Leigh Barker, Planner & Coordinator
Leigh ventured into the wedding business in 2000 when she was asked to photograph a wedding. Her love for photography and creativity only grew from there as she began to photograph several weddings a year. The experience and contacts she gained from photographing weddings began to plant a seed in her heart for event planning. In 2004, Leigh coordinated her first wedding and after a few years decided that she would like to take it on as a career in the future. She currently works for A Delightful Day as a Planner & Coordinator, managing many of our Month of Coordination client events.

Kelly Stack, Planner and Coordinator
After almost two decades of throwing elaborate theme parties for her every birthday, Kelly got the wake-up call to pursue event planning as a career! She dabbled in political fundraisers for a while but realized shortly thereafter her true calling was in weddings. Kelly has been with A Delightful Day since January 2010 and began taking on her own clients as an Event Director after her graduation from Belmont in the spring of 2011. Her favorite part about wedding-planning is being able to contribute to such a monumental day in her Delightful couples' lives-- not to mention dreaming up gorgeous wedding details!

Kerren Barker, Event Assistant
While design has always been a part of Kerren’s life, event planning first became of interest to her while she was planning her own wedding. Her formal art training has taught her to look for design and balance constantly, while her composure under pressure allows her think on her toes in hectic situations. Her eye for detail and calm personae are definitely assets in the world of event planning. She assists A Delightful Day part time at events.

Lauren Helms, Event Assistant
Lauren graduated with her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Free Will Baptist Bible College, in May 2008. After graduating, she discovered her interest in weddings and the process behind event planning. Lauren began working in the wedding business in August 2008 with A Delightful Day as an event assistant.

McCauley Gatliff, Event Assistant
McCauley has always had a passion for event planning. However, her interest in wedding planning came to light when she was asked by her childhood friend and cousin to help plan both their weddings. Though she enjoyed all of the events she had helped plan and coordinate, weddings took the cake! McCauley became A Delightful Day Intern in August 2009. In January, she became a part-time Event Assistant. McCauley graduated with her Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Belmont University, in December 2009.

Favorite detail of a wedding: I love seeing the ways each couple puts their unique touch on their wedding. It's so fun to see the creativity and thoughtfulness. & of course, I always love seeing THE dress. What girl doesn't?
