A couple weeks ago, Delightful couple Kimberly & Rashad got married in the Born Again Church. The entire day was beautiful and emotional... everyone contributed so much to make their day unforgettable, from the custom-made ceremony set Kimberly's relatives crafted to touching speeches given at the reception and heart-wrenching songs sung by old friends from church. Tears glistened in Kimberly's bridesmaids' eyes as she walked down the aisle and everyone shared hearty laughs at Rashad's cutting up throughout the day.
During their Hutton Hotel reception, the couple showed a film depicting their story of courtship and dating. It was a special touch to connect their guests (especially those coming from far away) to their life together, as a prelude to a happy future marriage.
Another unusual but incredibly neat feature at their reception was the screening of a same-day edit of their wedding ceremony videography! Lynette of McNeal Wedding Films worked magic to get everything pulled together to create such a lovely recap of the day.
Videography is such an important part of keeping the memories of your wedding alive. While still photographs will capture important moments that last, videography alone will give the full, detailed record of your flowergirls distractedly giggling while dropping petals, the tears in your parents' eyes, your husband smiling as you walk through the door. Not to mention, it allows your children and grandchildren to see your wedding in years to come. Because your wedding day will inevitably be a whirlwind of happiness and excitement, don't let any detail be forgotten.
Happy Planning!
~ A Delightful Day
